Type: 1099/Subcontract • Area: Greater St. Louis (MO/IL) • Reports to: Superintendent / PM

Overview

Own small‑to‑mid drywall and paint scopes with clean blend‑backs and dust control. You’ll deliver Level 4–5 finishes, crisp lines, and spotless sites suitable for immediate homeowner use.

Responsibilities

• Drywall: hang, tape, mud, sand, texture; match orange peel/knockdown/hand textures

• Patching and repairs; corner bead and trim details; feathering for invisible blends

• Paint: surface prep, priming, cutting, rolling, spraying; sheen and color continuity

• Masking, protection, and dust control; occupied‑home etiquette and daily tidy

• CompanyCam photo logs; ClickUp notes, color/sheens, and close‑out documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years drywall + paint; sprayer & hand‑finish capable; own tools/vehicle

• Color matching, texture blending, and finish‑level literacy (4–5)

• Safety: ladder, respirators, ventilation; proper disposal of materials

Preferred

• RRP certification, OSHA‑10, bilingual (EN/ES)

KPIs

• Finish quality and blend invisibility; low callbacks

• Cleanliness and protection; schedule adherence

• Documentation completeness and client CSAT

Pay & Terms

• Per room/sf/PO; ACH/Card; Net‑7 after approved close‑out
