Type: 1099/Subcontract • Area: Greater St. Louis (MO/IL) • Reports to: Superintendent / PM

Overview

Install LVP, hardwood, tile, and carpet with manufacturer‑compliant methods. You verify acclimation, moisture, and subfloor prep, and deliver tight transitions with minimal waste.

Responsibilities

• Demo, haul‑off coordination, and substrate prep (patch, level, underlayment)

• Verify acclimation and moisture conditions; document readings as requested

• Install per manufacturer specs; expansion gaps; stair nosings and transitions

• Base/shoe reinstall; protect adjacent finishes; daily tidy in occupied homes

• CompanyCam photo documentation; ClickUp notes and materials logs

Requirements

• 3+ years multi‑material flooring installs; own tools/vehicle

• Moisture testing literacy; cut planning to reduce waste; layout aesthetics

• Safety: saw dust extraction, PPE, blade/knife management

Preferred

• Crew leadership; RRP/OSHA‑10; bilingual (EN/ES)

KPIs

• Callbacks/claims rate; schedule adherence; finish quality

• Waste percentage vs. allowance; documentation completeness

Pay & Terms

• Per sf/room/PO; Net‑7 after approved close‑out
